Wines of Roussillon will present a special masterclass for UK Sommeliers at 67 Pall Mall in London on Monday 26 September 2022.

Eric Aracil will present a tutored tasting of Vins Doux Naturels featuring 8 stunning examples of fortified sweet wines from Roussillon. He will explain the history and techniques behind their making and shed a light on their ability to match a range of cuisines and dishes, from savoury to sweet and classic to exotic.

Vins Doux Naturels are emblematic of Roussillon where ancestral know-how has been passed down generations since the 13th century. This rich heritage, combined with modern winemaking practices, gives wines that are as versatile as they are unique.

The masterclass will be followed by a light lunch accompanied by a selection of still dry whites, roses and reds from Roussillon alongside more classic examples of the region’s Vins Doux Naurels.
