Introducing the Roussillon ‘Coups de Cœur’ competition

Wines of Roussillon is kick staring its 2024 UK campaign with the launch of its first ever Roussillon ‘Coups de Cœur’ competition. Designed to highlight top Roussillon wines available to UK shoppers, the competition will award winners across all styles.

A panel of 8 wine journalists will be blind tasting through Roussillon AOP and IGP wines available in the UK, in London on 27 March in the search of their ‘coup de cœur’. Looking for their Roussillon wine crush, judges Andrew Catchpole, Heather Dougherty, Natalie Earl, Lisse Garnet, Tom Surgery, Mike Turner, Matt Walls and David Williams will consider quality and consumer enjoyment as key criteria.

Results will be published early May and winning wines will be presented during the year and at the Wines of Roussillon mini-roadshow 2024.

The first leg of the Trade and Press tasting roadshow will take place in Edinburgh on 24 June and the second one in London on 26 June. A great opportunity to discover selected Coups de Coeur and find your very own Roussillon wine crush by exploring the range of still dry wines and Vins Doux Naturels (fortified sweet wines) presented by Roussillon producers in attendance on the day.
