Harpers’ 2024 Top 50 Sommeliers

For the past three years, Wines of Roussillon has been proudly supporting Harpers Wine & Spirit’s Top 25 and Top 50 Sommeliers Awards. The initiative aims to recognise excellence in wine service in the hospitality industry. Although this year it highlights 50 outstanding individuals, it is also a celebration of an entire profession that delivers seamless hospitality and plays a crucial part in the dining experience.

Judge Eric Aracil, co-director in charge of exports at the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins du Roussillon, comments: “Sommeliers have the fingers on the pulse of not just wine trends, they experience first-hand the evolution of consumer needs and expectations. We have a lot to learn from sommeliers and wine waiting staff and are grateful for their passion and hard work. They tell our stories, care for our wines, and deliver memorable guest experiences. They are our eyes and ears and we really appreciate the work they do”.
