Grenaches du Monde 2023
For the first time in its history the annual Grenaches du Monde competition was held outside Europe and took place in New York City during the first week of June 2023. Entries were assessed by a jury composed exclusively of American trade representatives (importers, distributors, sommeliers) and influencers (media and specialist wine writers). This annual competition is open to all wines mainly produced from Garnacha/Grenache without restriction of colour, origin or nationality. For more information, go to Grenaches du Monde.

For the second year running, the CIVR is proud to support Harpers Top 25 Sommeliers initiative, recognising the very best in the profession. Hundreds of applications have been received and the much-awaited list of 25 finalists will be revealed on 7th July 2023.

Grenaches du Monde
The 2024 Grenaches du Monde competition will take place on 13th May, when Olympics host-city Paris will briefly become the Grenache capital of the world. An international jury composed of around 100 discerning palates and influential wine experts will select the best wines made from Grenache in all corners of the globe.

Trade and Press Tasting – Edinburgh
Wines of Roussillon is off on a mini roadshow with a stop in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. Join us and meet Roussillon producers and importers and their superb wines. Grenaches du Monde 2025
This thirteenth edition of Grenaches du Monde will be hosted by the Cariñena Denomination of Origin, in partnership with the towns of Zaragoza, the Grenache capital of the world, and Cariñena in Spain. A jury of around 80 international wine experts will select the top Grenache wines at a rigorous blind tasting set to take place in Cariñena on 5 and 6 May. For more information, click here.
